To ensure proper operation and maintenance of our equipment, the ARPAC GROUP provides a wide array of customized, interactive training programs for our end-user customers. These programs offer both classroom and hands-on training and cover topics such as preventive maintenance, product changeovers and safety. The programs are designed to meet practical, theoretical and operational requirements necessary for the safe and proper operation of equipment. Each program is designed for a specific model and serial numbers operating at the customer's facility. Classes are tailored to the positions, skills, experience levels and culture of the class participants.

Additionally, the ARPAC GROUP also offers general technical training courses for our standard machines. These courses are targeted primarily for distributors (an other users of multiple models), and focusing on the similarities and differences of operating and maintaining several standard various models of ARPAC, GREAT LAKES and INFRAPAK equipment.

Our overall goal is to deliver a consistent, comprehensive, engaging, and high quality training program. We believe that interactivity and student participation are essential in providing effective instruction and extended retention of knowledge. To that end, our training courses utilize multimedia technology, hands-on laboratory instruction, animated demonstrations, and both written and practical testing on the equipment.

The ARPAC GROUP's training programs enable production crews to:

  • Operate machines at maximum efficiency
  • Smoothly execute shift changes without downtime or quality reductions
  • Develop an effective preventive maintenance program which will minimize machine downtime and extend machine life
  • Enhance quick-changeover sequences
  • Shorten trouble-shooting time, jams, production stoppages and breakdowns
One day of standard training includes:
  • Eight hours of operator or maintenance technician training
  • Training at the company's facility or at the ARPAC GROUP's Education Center
  • Instruction for up to six students per class
  • Visual aids for use in class
  • Classroom instruction
  • Hands-on labs
