Position: TEMPORARY Part-Time Telemarketing Sales Rep | August 6, 2015


Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • 29 hours per week, preferably on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays.
  • Proactively contact customers by making outbound calls from list provided to increase part sales revenue.
  • Contact and/or seek out decision makers.
  • Follow script provided to engage customer base.
  • Enter notes into our CRM (Maximizer).
  • Capture all data and/or feedback from customer accurately.
  • Relay information to appropriate personnel in Supportpro for further quoting and/or follow up.

Position: Customer Service Rep (CSR) | August 3, 2015

As our CSR you will be the voice of ARPAC as you interface with our customers by receiving and processing orders in a prompt, professional, and customer friendly manner.    

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Understand special promotional offerings and be fluent in explaining each to prospective customers.
  • Pro-actively up-sell customer’s that call in to place a parts orders by knowing which special promotion programs apply to their equipment and by e-mailing them pricing, quotes and the promotional marketing literature.
  • Cold call to targeted customers to promote special programs.
  • Quote prices and part availability promptly and accurately. Follow-up on open quotes to close sale.
  • Assist customers by utilizing ERP system, Bill of Material system, machine manuals, assembly and part drawings to identify the parts that they require for their specific machines.
  • Arrange for drop and same day shipments.
  • Issue Return Authorization numbers and appropriate credits.
  • Follow-up on open RMA’s to ensure that the parts are returned by the customer,
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting technical problems. Work closely with the Technical staff to resolve customer issues.
  • Communicate errors and/or omissions in the machine Bill of Material or Spare Parts lists to engineering department for correction.
  • Assist the Operations Manager on special assignments designed to improve the efficiency of the Operations Department.
  • Assist the Accounting Department with collection efforts.
  • Associates’ degree preferred.

Position: Product Specialist (Spare Parts Kits – SPK’s) | August 6, 2015

As our Product Specialist you are responsible for driving the sales and product development of SupportPro’s SPK’s and for identifying and articulating opportunities to sell SPK’s to our partners (customers).    

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Pro-actively leverage SupportPro install base, company sales network and customer touch points to discover end user needs and promote company services to meet those needs.
  • Maximize customer solution opportunities by developing credibility and strong relationships with customers.
  • Drive after-market revenues, with a focus on selling SPK’s.
  • SPK sales include machines in house, machines in the field, ARBOTs, and Lambert machinery.
  • Actively cold call, warm call and email customers directly in order to discover needs and promote SPK sales.
  • Provide solution quotes to customers, pro-actively follow-up and manage quotes to completion.
  • Manage SPK pipeline.
  • Lead the development and content of new SPK’s.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing and promotional plans to ensure revenue growth and continuously improved competitive position.
  • Work with Sales to present SPK offerings during all customer visits to HQ.
  • 3+ years’ experience in business development, customer service, and/or inside sales on technical equipment/products required.
  • Experience in the packaging industry and knowledge with a broad range of automated packaging lines highly desired.
  • Demonstrated commercial background and business acumen required.
  • Strong technical background required in order to thoroughly understand uses of SPK’s. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components and their interaction.

Position: Retrofits Sales Engineer | August 6, 2015

As part of the retrofits team, the Retrofits Sales Engineer is responsible for contributing to the overall success of the retrofits business. The incumbent will function as a product manager for retrofits and will be responsible for sales, applications, engineering, and project management of retrofits.   

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Grow Retrofits Portfolio - Identify opportunities, products, and programs to enhance the retrofit business.
  • Marketing - Develop and execute marketing and promotional plans to ensure revenue growth and continuously improve competitive position.
  • Grow Retrofits Sales - Identify and prioritize opportunities to generate revenue through design and component upgrades.
  • Customer support - Build strong relationships with customers. Meet and correspond with customers to ensure that their needs and expectations are fully understood and documented.
  • Project Management - Collaborate with Production Scheduler to establish lead times and maintain shipping schedules.
  • Applications - Create design layouts, utilize existing Applications Engineering tools to develop financial budgets for custom retrofit opportunities, sevelop installation timeline and cost estimates and establish standardized pricing and quoting tools for canned retrofits.
  • Provide support to Technical Service on retrofit installations.
  • Work with the Documentation department to ensure the accuracy of operation manuals.
  • Utilize financial reporting and metrics required to accurately measure results.
  • Promote retrofits through support of all internal sales channels.
  • Promote other Aftermarket business offerings
  • Associates of Science degree or higher, engineering degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years of experience in project management, sales, engineering, assembly, or related field.
  • Packaging equipment and/or automation industry a plus.

Position: Field Service Technician – Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta | August 3, 2015

As our Field Service Technician you will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, and maintenance of ARPAC machines and systems as well as promoting After Market Sales.    

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot, identify root causes, and solve operational issues associated with ARPAC machinery at customer locations.
  • Train appropriate personnel in the field and in-house on proper setup, operation, maintenance and repair of ARPAC equipment.
  • Perform extensive mechanical and electrical modifications including PLC program modifications and servo drive reconfigurations.
  • Submit reports on machine and system installations, warranty repairs, overall performance levels, problems, and product improvement or enhancement opportunities to ARPAC personnel. Submit clear and measurable statements on machine performance, and clear punch lists of open issues.
  • Develop opportunities to promote After Market Sales and generate additional revenue for ARPAC through sales of After Market parts, services, and retrofits.
  • Prospect for future business relationships
  • Set up appointments with customers when not on prior scheduled assignments
  • Submit accurate and timely expense and time reports.
  • Communicate daily with Technical Service office to ensure that the Technical Resource Planner is aware of delays, expected completion of job, and other problems or issues that arise. Escalate issues or concerns to Technical Service Manager as necessary.
  • Travel extensively in the Eastern Region.
  • Periodically perform technical support, final assurance, and/or other assigned duties at ARPAC’s facility.
  • Build strong customer relationships to help achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarize oneself with all Arpac machinery and new technology.
  • Interface with Customer Service/Parts, Sales, Marketing, Final Assurance, Engineering, Production and Materials Management in a professional and productive manner.
  • At all times represent ARPAC with highest levels of professionalism and integrity while interfacing with customers, distributors, and suppliers.
  • Be available every other weekend, or the next weekend if the prior weekend was not worked. Occasionally on large projects, 2 weekends in a row may be required.
  • Minimum of high school diploma and ten years experience repairing and troubleshooting packaging equipment. Experience must include extensive Allen-Bradley PLC, servo, and HMI programming.
  • AAS or BS in Mechtronics, EE, EET, EECS or Industrial Electronics is highly desired. Extensive Allen-Bradley PLC training required.
  • Solid knowledge of packaging equipment including competitor equipment.
  • Travel experience required.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components and their interaction.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Allen-Bradley Compact Logix programming capabilities are highly desired.
  • Allen Bradley PanelView HMI programming capabilities are a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with servo systems, particularly Allen-Bradley, is a strong advantage.

Position: Electro Mechanical Assembler (Irving) | August 6, 2015


Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Wire machines per schematic.
  • Assemble a variety of mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies per blue print.
  • Resolve assembly problems and issues.
  • Responsible for following ARPAC manufacturing guidelines and standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, as directed.
  • Responsible for completing work assignments, as scheduled.
  • Responsible for reporting any problems/issues to Supervisor and utilizing ARPAC Quality System to record intra-departmental issues.
  • Interface with Engineering and Production Management.
  • Read and understand schematics
  • Read and understand blue prints.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of hand tools, pneumatic hand tools, and cordless hand tools.

Position: Welder – Night Shift | August 6, 2015


Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding.
  • Per drawings weld parts, components, frames and weldments.
  • Weld on a broad range of metal and alloys for a wide variety of complex precision assemblies, involving a considerable amount of welding to high strength and pressure requirements.
  • Grind and polish all sharp edges on work pieces as required.
  • Must be able to read blueprints including welding symbols, material shape and material type.
  • Minimum 3 years MIG and TIG welding experience.
