Position: SENIOR TECHNICAL WRITER| December 5, 2011
As our Technical Writer you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the source computer files which will be used to publish Operation and Maintenance manuals for ARPAC equipment. You will work with the appropriate Engineers and Service Technicians to verify the technical accuracy of manuals, and to incorporate Engineering documentation into the manuals.
This position is intended to provide industry leading technical literature and documentation materials in support of the companys line of machinery for sale within the packaging industry.
The Key Performance Indicators for this position will be the on-time delivery of operator manual, accuracy of the technical instructions provided in the manuals, and timely completion of marketing communication projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and direct work for employees in the documentation department.
- Responsible for overall quality, quantity, and completion of work products.
- Researches and understands packaging machine operation methods and communicates the machine mechanical and electrical functionality into operation and maintenance manuals in a manner that maximizes user comprehension.
- Publishes logical and easy to follow procedures for operation, repair and preventive maintenance within the technical literature.

- Integrates appropriate engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, schematics) into operator manuals.
- Integrates digital photography into literature to improve user comprehension.
- Utilizes Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint software as necessary to support the technical communication assignments. Ability to work with AutoCAD to integrate drawings into technical documentation.
- Provides day-to-day planning for incoming technical documentation demands in order to avoid missing manuals for machine shipping from the factory.
- Provides expertise and specific recommendations for improvements to grow the companys reputation for the industrys best technical literature.
- Supports ARPAC University training and the Technical Certification Training program by developing and revising training materials as required.
- Plan and direct work for employees in the documentation department.
- Provides training literature, training videos, training scripts in support of Custom In-Plant training programs.
- Supports the growth of our web-based technical support literature and tools.
- Maintains a library of computer based archive files for all literature.

Position: RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT | December 5, 2011
5 Month Temporary Assignment. We have an immediate opening for a Receptionist/Administrative Support for our After Market Business Department. This position is for a 5 month temporary assignment.
Duties and Responsibilities Accept and triage all incoming phone calls to ARPAC. The key objective for this person is to ensure a virtually immediate human contact for all incoming calls to ARPAC. Coordinate schedules of technical support and customer service personnel to ensure adequate customer support resources are available at all times. Log, record, and distribute all incoming DCR requests Provide administrative support in the execution of After Market strategic initiatives, including generating and reviewing reports, data analysis, collating, etc.

This position is for the experienced Project (Design) Engineer, looking for an opportunity to work on a diverse and comprehensive product line.
